Job summary

Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is seeking a salon manager to oversee daily operations, hire and train staff, and ensure a high-quality, kid-friendly haircut experience.

Ideal candidates bring prior management experience, comfort coordinating shifts for peak times, and a positive, fun attitude for families and children.

Qualifications

• Three years of prior management experience preferred.
• Able to work weekends.
• Cosmetology license not required but is a benefit.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing hiring and training licensed stylists, as needed.
• Organizing employees’ shifts, considering peak times and seasonality.
• Ensure all treatments meet high-quality standards.
• Ensure clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner.
• Oversee and maintain cleanliness of salon.
• Operating the Point-of-Sale software system.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced atmosphere.
• Ability to work with kids.
• Ability to work weekends.
