Job summary

Supercuts, Inc. is seeking a Salon Manager in Happy Valley, Oregon to oversee profitability and guest satisfaction through the 360 Service Experience. You will lead a team, model professionalism, and align with Regis operating principles and brand promise.

Responsibilities include hiring, goal setting, meetings, inventory management, and staff development. Must hold current cosmetology and state manager licenses where applicable.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to coach, lead and inspire teams.
• Strong business management: scheduling, cash handling, reporting.
• Excellent communication and email etiquette.
• Flexible availability to cover salon hours.
• Current Cosmetology license and manager license as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Interview and hire salon staff.
• Evaluate staff performance through 1:1 meetings.
• Set goals for individuals and the salon.
• Document important conversations, incidents and goals.
• Approve time off when staffing allows.
• Conduct regular salon meetings.
• Collaborate with Technical Trainer on salon opportunities.
• Manage inventory and place orders.
• Develop a talent bench for career growth within the area.

Job description

Purpose:

The manager's primary role is to ensure the salon's profitability, ensure guest satisfaction by using the 360 Service Experience and generate an enthusiastic and professional environment where employees are continuously inspired through effective leadership, to do their best and to be successful. The manager must be a constant role model for all employees and have the ability to inspire, respect and creativity understand the Supercuts Operating Principles and Brand Promise, and effectively execute these principles at all times.

Duties:

In addition to the duties outlined in the Shift/Assistant and Intern Manager, the Salon Manager is also responsible for:

• Interviewing and hiring staff
• Evaluate employee performance through effective 1:1's
• Set goals for individuals and the salon
• Document important conversations ,incidents and goals
• Approve time off (If short staffed, please communicate with your Area Manager)
• Conduct salon meetings
• Work with Technical Trainer on salon specific opportunities
• Take inventory and place orders
• Create and develop a talent bench within your salon as an assist for career advancement within your area.
