Job summary

Sharkey's Cuts for Kids in Bel Air, MD seeks an experienced salon manager to lead daily operations, hire and train staff, and ensure a fun, kid-friendly experience for every guest. You will drive performance, foster engagement, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a regular schedule, a relaxed yet energetic work culture, and meaningful growth opportunities with a very competitive salary range and hourly compensation between $35 and $40.

• Able to work weekends.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must have an upbeat attitude with a commitment to provide an unforgettable fun and exciting haircut experience for each of our client children and parents. Ability to listen to and communicate with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to hire, lead, coach and train team for performance and salon goals. Operate Point-of-Sale software system. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere. Ability to work with kids. Organize employees’ shifts. Oversee and maintain the health and safety of customers by following the laws and rules set forth by the state board of cosmetology/barbering. Report directly to ownership.
