The Salon Director in Training helps drive store performance, fosters superior client service, and maintains operational excellence to meet productivity goals. This role oversees Tanning Consultants and leads by example in all company operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in management and/or sales is required.
• Beauty industry and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple situations.
• Strong leadership with ability to coach and mentor.
• Team-building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve Team Members’ daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Help to maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service while also controlling labor costs.
• Ability to work nights & weekends.
• Ability to work a 5-day workweek with approximately 35 to 45 hours per week depending on hourly or salary status.
