L Salon & Color Group in San Mateo is seeking a full-time licensed cosmetologist to join our team. The ideal candidate is fashion conscious, motivated, with a creative mindset.

Our salon specializes in haircutting or coloring, with opportunities to offer both, and we provide an apprenticeship training program to keep you up to date with trends. You will earn a minimum wage of $18.60 per hour during training and then move to commission after graduation.

Are you a recent graduate from cosmetology school looking to start your career?

L Salon & Color Group in San Mateo is seeking a full time licensed cosmetologist to join our amazing team! The ideal candidate is a fashion conscious, motivated individual with a fun personality and the ability to be creative. We are a specialized salon and our stylists either focus on haircutting or coloring, however can choose to offer both. L Salon offers a distinguished apprenticeship training program that keeps you up to date with the latest trends. We are interested in hiring someone looking for an exciting career, and not merely another job.

The Training Program

The program will include but not be limited to the following

• Classes held by our master stylists for one hour, two-four days every week
• Taking live models provided by L salon, we welcome you to bring your own
• Assisting our designers and colorists on a daily basis
• Salon cleaning/ maintenance

You will receive minimum wage currently $18.60 an hour while in training and then commission after graduation of the training program. We also offer complimentary cuts & product cost for color!
