Salon Di Panache and Medi Spa in New Jersey is seeking a Salon Assistant/Apprentice for a busy multi-location salon. You will gain hands-on experience and participate in an advance training program for new stylists.

The role requires a cosmetology permit or license and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We invest in education and offer benefits such as product discounts, dental and vision coverage, paid vacation, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Cosmetology permit or license is required.
• Able to work nights and Saturdays.
• Willingness to participate in training and education programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all salon services.
• Shampoo clients.
• Assist in processing clients’ payments as needed.
• Keep the salon clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Maintain clean and organized work stations and color bar.

Advance training program for new Stylists.

Our assistant program is for anyone who has recently graduated from school with a Cosmetology permit or license. During this time you gain more knowledge, hands on experience and business education. This is

mandatory for any new stylist wanting to work at either locations.

Salon Assistant Requirements:

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• MUST have cosmetology permit/cosmetology license to be considered as a candidate for this position.

alon Assistant Responsibilities:

• Providing assistance in all services offered by the salon.
• Responsibilities include shampooing clients.
• Providing assistance in processing clients’ payments as needed.
• Ensuring that the salon is clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Keeping shampoo area and color bar clean and organized.
• Laundry and light cleaning.
• Work some nights till 9/9:30 and Saturdays.
