L Studio is seeking a Salon Assistant to support our beauty team and elevate client experiences. You will shampoo, prep, and assist stylists while maintaining a welcoming, organized space.

Strong customer service and teamwork are essential to ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced salon. Candidates should have a cosmetology license or be enrolled in a cosmetology program, with familiarity in salon software and appointment scheduling a plus.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license or current enrollment in cosmetology program is required.
• Familiarity with salon software systems and appointment scheduling is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate with clients.
• Ability to work well in a team and take direction from stylists.

Responsibilities

• Assist salon stylists as needed.
• Shampoo and condition clients' hair.
• Prepare clients for services by draping with towels and capes.
• Maintain a clean, organized salon environment.
• Greet and check-in clients, escort to designated area.
• Provide exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Light administrative duties such as answering calls and scheduling.
• Handle key-holding, opening/closing the building at shift start/end.

Responsibilities

• Assist salon stylists as needed
• Shampoo and condition clients' hair
• Prepare clients for services by draping them with towels and capes

• Ability to perform light administrative duties such as answering phone calls and scheduling appointments is a must
• Comfortable with key-holding, locking up and opening the building at the beginning and end of shift
• Follow salon policies and procedures for sanitization and safety protocols
• Think ahead and be proactive

Experience

• Previous experience in a salon or beauty industry preferred
• Familiarity with salon software systems and appointment scheduling is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients
• Basic understanding of retail salon products
• Cosmetology license or currently enrolled in a cosmetology program is required
• Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from salon stylists

Schedule

We are looking for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, mornings to late afternoon. Scheduled days are determined by need, as hours can be less if the need for help isn't there.
