David James Hair Salon & Spa is looking for a reliable, energetic Salon Assistant who's ready to learn and grow in the beauty industry. If you love working with people and want to build a career behind the chair someday, we want to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Greet clients and help create a warm, welcoming salon experience
• Shampoo and condition clients' hair, and prep clients for services
• Assist stylists with draping, mixing color, and preparing products per their instructions
• Keep styling stations, tools, and the back bar clean, stocked, and sanitized
• Help with laundry, towel folding, and general salon upkeep
• Support stylists throughout the day so every client gets great service

What You Bring

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
• Salon experience is a plus, but not required
• New York State Shampoo Assistant License or Cosmetology License preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
