• Prepare styling stations by sanitizing tools and ensuring all supplies are stocked and organized.
• Support stylists with hair care services including shampooing, conditioning, and applying hair treatments.
• Assist with hair coloring, hair extensions, hair threading, and makeup application under supervision.
• Maintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning tools, workstations, and common areas regularly.
• Manage appointment schedules, confirm upcoming bookings, and upsell retail products to enhance client experience.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, offering product recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Support store management with inventory tracking and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.

Experience

• Previous experience working in the beauty industry or a customer service role is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with salon software platforms like MINDBODY or similar management tools is advantageous.
• Knowledge of hair care techniques including coloring, styling, barbering (straight razors), and hair extensions is desirable.
• Understanding of sanitation practices specific to salons to ensure client safety.
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
• Experience mentoring or assisting senior stylists is a plus.
• Certification in cosmetology or barbering is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
