Job summary

Essentials Salon & Spa is seeking a motivated salon assistant to join a busy salon team. You will welcome visitors, greet them in person or by phone, and help manage appointment books as you train toward becoming a stylist.

Responsibilities include color prep, shampooing, product knowledge, on-floor assisting, stocking, and up-selling. A strong work ethic, reliability, and great communication are essential for success in this role.

Job Description

Seeking a new assistant in our salon! Someone who is willing to work Tuesday - Saturday. Hours could vary!

We are looking for an assistant who will welcome visitors by greeting them while entering our chic and elegant experience, whether it is on the phone or in person. He/She will direct visitors by washing out color, shampoos, and deep conditioning. Our assistant will be maintaining our stylists' appointment books by accommodating their help, and monitoring product orders, along with invoices from vendors. We will work with you and create a training timeline so you are in control of how quickly you can move from salon assistant to full-time stylist. We are a very busy salon, looking for an assistant who wants to learn more about a full-service salon. Our salon assistant will enjoy a rigorous training and continuing education program to prepare them for their future career as a stylist.
