Job summary

Sally Beauty in Pensacola is seeking a Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor to create a memorable shopping experience for our customers across hair, cosmetics, skin care and nails.

You will build relationships, recommend products, set up displays, enroll customers in our Loyalty program, and complete transactions with a courteous, knowledgeable approach. We offer training, a range of schedules, product discounts, free samples, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must 18 years of age or older.
• 1 + years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers and management in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to execute knowledge from product knowledge training to support with customer service.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor will focus on one primary objective – creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. Whether assisting with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, we want you to be the advisor on our customer’s journey. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. The position involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines, and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals.
