Job summary

Angry Chickz in Salinas, CA is seeking a friendly Cashier to be the first point of contact for guests. You will greet customers, present menu details, and guide them through ordering with accuracy and speed.

You will handle cash and card transactions, balance cash at the end of shifts, and keep the front counter clean and organized. The role requires teamwork with the FOH staff and a willingness to work flexible weekend shifts.

As the Cashier at Angry Chickz, you are the first point of contact for our customers. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping their dining experience by offering a warm welcome, guiding them through our menu, and ensuring a swift and accurate transaction.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet customers and provide them with menu details or any promotional information.
• Accurately take orders, ensuring special requests or dietary needs are communicated to the kitchen team.
• Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring all cash is accounted for and registers balance at the end of your shift.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front counter area.
• Collaborate with the FOH team to ensure seamless operations and a positive customer experience
• Bag and wrap to-go orders
• Performs other related duties as assigned
