Salesperson

Entry-level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieving our sales and service objectives. The role requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge, and basic part knowledge. Candidates must be able to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers and have in-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes. The position can be part-time or full-time. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
  • Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales objectives.
  • Perform DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
  • Maintain store product and operational standards.
  • Handle inventory processes such as truck put-away, shoot-outs, cycle counts, and back stock.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot.
  • Perform general stocking, including truck stocking and back stock.
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.

  • Uses basic math accurately: adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Works an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Prior Experience
  • 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
Store Driver

Entry-level store position capable of delivering parts to commercial customers. The role includes the responsibility to deliver parts, assist with tasks, and manage inventory processes in the store. The position can be part-time or full-time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
  • Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
  • Pick up returns and cores.
  • Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers.
  • Collect daily credit accounts.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot.
  • Perform general stocking, including truck stocking and back stock.
Success Factors
  • Basic driving and navigation ability.

Physical Demands

The employee will predominantly be walking or standing, and must be able to talk and hear, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds routinely and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Mainly indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks under variable weather conditions. Exposure may include moving mechanical parts, high places, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical shock, explosives, vibration, and moderate noise levels.

Compensation Range

15.00 USD PER HOUR - 15.41 USD PER HOUR
