Job Description

What is a Salesperson?

Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieving our sales and service objectives. The role requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge, and basic part knowledge. The role should be able to source parts from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers, and have in-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes. The position can be part time or full time. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help the store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, and back stock.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facings, dusting, and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.

What is a Store Driver?

Entry level store position capable of supporting delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role is responsible for delivering parts to commercial customers and assisting with task and inventory processes in the store. This position can be part time or full time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyer.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facings, dusting, and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock.

Physical Demands

The employee will predominantly be walking or standing, communicate, use hands, lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Must meet required vision and other physical capabilities as described.

Work Environment

Employee frequently works indoors but occasionally outside in varying weather. Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, electrical shock, and vibration is possible. Noise level is usually moderate.

Compensation Range

15.95 USD per hour – 16.95 USD per hour
