Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business. This entry-level role can be part-time or full-time and focuses on delivering excellent customer service, basic automotive knowledge, and efficient use of store systems.

Successful candidates will source parts, assist with DIY services, and maintain inventory accuracy. Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, helping customers in-store and over the phone, and ensuring a clean, organized sales floor.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
• Basic automotive parts knowledge and ability to source from multiple locations.
• Experience using store systems and inventory processes is preferred.

Job DescriptionWhat is a Salesperson?Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieve our sales and service objectives. The role has good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge and basic part knowledge. The role has the basic ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. The role has in-depth knowledge of the store inventory and maintenance processes. Position can be part time or full time.
