Offprem Technology is hiring a Salesforce Solution Architect for Marketing Cloud Engagement & Next. You will design architectures, guide migrations, and align Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and Data 360.

You’ll lead client discovery, oversee implementation teams, and drive quality through testing, go-live support, and enablement. Remote-friendly with nationwide opportunities in the United States.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing Marketing Cloud Engagement (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, data extensions).
• Experience as a Solution Architect or consultant leading client-facing discovery, design, and delivery.
• Familiarity with Marketing Cloud Next and related Salesforce data models.

About the Role

Salesforce’s marketing platform is evolving, and our clients need an architect who can guide them through it. In this role you’ll design and deliver solutions on Marketing Cloud Engagement and Marketing Cloud Next, helping each client choose the right path and build it well. That includes planning how Marketing Cloud works with Salesforce CRM and Data 360, and how clients move from one platform to another over time.

You’ll lead solution design, oversee build work and quality assurance. You’re equally comfortable in a discovery workshop with a marketing leader and in a working session on journeys, data, and code.

What You’ll Do

Lead the engagement

• Manage implementation projects from kickoff to go-live, keeping scope, timeline, and budget on track
• Lead discovery and consulting sessions with marketing, sales, operations, and technical stakeholders
• Assess a client’s current marketing technology, data, and processes, and recommend the right platform and roadmap
• Run solution walkthroughs, user acceptance testing, and enablement sessions
• Support go-live and early adoption, and hand off cleanly to client teams or managed services

Architect solutions across Marketing Cloud

• Design and document the solution architecture for Marketing Cloud Engagement and Marketing Cloud Next implementations, and get client approval on the design
• Advise on platform strategy, including coexistence, sequencing, and migration between Marketing Cloud products
• Design audience and data models, including segmentation and identity
• Design customer journeys and cross-channel programs across email, mobile, and other channels, with personalization and dynamic content
• Define consent, preference, and compliance approaches that fit each client’s requirements
• Architect integrations between Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, and Data 360, and define campaign measurement and reporting
• Identify where Agentforce and AI-assisted capabilities can improve content, segmentation, and campaign performance

Build, test, and improve

• Oversee build work and quality assurance, and build or test solutions yourself when needed
• Configure and review core components, such as journeys, automations, content, data extensions, segments, and integrations
• Write and review SQL, AMPscript, and other scripting where Marketing Cloud Engagement solutions call for it
• Support data migration, sender authentication and deliverability setup, and cutover planning
• Review the work of other consultants and give constructive technical feedback

Grow the practice

• Build reusable accelerators, templates, and best practices for Offprem’s marketing practice
• Mentor consultants as they build skills across the Marketing Cloud products
• Contribute to pre-sales conversations, scoping, and statements of work when needed

What You’ll Need

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience implementing Marketing Cloud Engagement, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and data extensions
• Working knowledge of SQL and AMPscript
• Experience with or knowledgeable about Marketing Cloud Next. We expect you to earn the Marketing Cloud Next certification shortly after joining. Candidates who already hold it or are well on their way will stand out.
• Previous experience as an Implementation Consultant, Business Analyst, Solution Architect, or Systems Consultant
• Experience leading client-facing discovery, solution design, and project delivery from kickoff to go-live
• Working knowledge of the Salesforce CRM data model and how marketing data connects to Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
• Familiarity with Marketing Cloud Growth, including how Growth Edition and Advanced Edition differ
• Strong business acumen and excellent technical ability
• Strong presentation, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to business leaders
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote consulting environment
• Consulting or partner firm experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Marketing Cloud Next certification already earned, or in progress
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications such as Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator, Consultant, Specialist or Developer
• Salesforce Administrator certification, plus additional certifications such as Data 360 Consultant
• Experience with Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud), including unification, segmentation, and activation
• Experience with Flow, Agentforce, or AI-driven marketing capabilities
• Experience planning or leading migrations between marketing platforms
• Interest in or experience with Claude and AI-assisted delivery
