Guidehouse seeks a skilled Solution Architect/Senior Solution Architect to bridge presales and delivery for federal engagements. You will shape, scope, and align complex initiatives to position clients for long-term success as trusted advisors.

You will drive architectural strategy from initial solutioning through execution, ensuring programs are set up for measurable outcomes and sustainable, scalable designs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in architecture, presales, and delivery.
• Experience leading complex Salesforce-based solutions for public sector projects.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders across levels.
• Familiarity with public sector digital transformation initiatives and security.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.

What You Will Do:

• The Solution Architect / Senior Solution Architect is a dual-impact leader across presales and delivery, responsible for shaping, scoping, and aligning complex engagements to position federal customers for long-term success as a trusted advisor.
• This role drives architectural strategy from initial solutioning through execution, ensuring mission-critical programs are set up to deliver measurable outcomes
• Review and correct project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts to keep programs on track and solutions extendable and maintainable going forward
• Drive a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies to enable technologies including the Salesforce platform
• Identify and lead internal strategic initiatives to grow the consulting practice; serve as an active contributor to the community’s overall knowledge base and expertise
• Guide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies that drive increased business value
• Work collaboratively and having very strong communications skills, especially in teaching complex concepts, and creative, prescriptive thinking across various levels of a client organization
• Identify and proactively manage risk areas and commit to seeing an issue through to complete resolution
• Expert in Salesforce configuration and architectural strategy, translating current-state complexity into clear target-state designs, closing capability gaps, and delivering solutions that enable achievement of critical business and mission outcomes
• Experience leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, writing user stories and providing detailed system and functional designs
• Experience in documenting business processes and wire-framing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc. as well as making recommendations for future state improved processes and system designs
• Strong presentation skills; able to effectively present a point of view and clearly articulate the rationale to a variety of stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience
• A great listener with the ability to connect with people in diverse roles
• Resourceful and innovative thinker who can work through and solve problems
• Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
• Experience in public sector digital transformation initiatives
• Ability to convey and convince customers of best practices at various levels within a large organization
• Application design and development background
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the client

What You Will Need:

• Minimum of FIVE (5) years of professional experience
• Bachelor’s degree (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree)
• Drive a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies to enable technologies including the Salesforce platform
• U.S. citizenship is contractually required
• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD “SECRET”securityclearance
• Candidates with an ACTIVE “SECRET” or higher-level clearance are preferred

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Hands-on experience with Public Sector Solutions (“Agentforce Public Sector”)
• Hands-on experience with Omni Studio
• Selected candidate may travel up to 25%

The annual salary range for this position is $106,000.00-$176,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
