Job summary

SunSoft Online is seeking a Salesforce QA Automation Engineer for a 6-month contract in Phoenix, AZ. The role is hybrid with initial onsite days, then mostly remote.

You will build and maintain automation frameworks, test Salesforce integrations, and contribute to cloud-based modernization projects for a state agency.

Candidates with 3-5 years QA automation and Salesforce experience, plus Provar/Selenium and API testing skills, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in QA automation, including 2-3+ years on the Salesforce platform.
• Automation: Provar, Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, UTAM, or Cucumber/BDD.
• API testing: Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data structures, Apex basics, LWC, and admin capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Automation Framework & Test Execution: Build, scale, and maintain reusable Salesforce test automation frameworks (Selenium, Provar, Playwright, Cypress, or UTAM).
• Quality Assurance & Strategy: Define test strategies, plans, and acceptance criteria with product owners, architects, and business analysts.
• Salesforce-Specific Quality Control: Validate Salesforce security models and adapt automated suites for seasonal releases.
• Develop automated REST/SOAP API tests validating integrations between Salesforce and external systems (ERP, marketing automation, payment gateways).
• Responsible for the automated regression suite; manage defects in Jira or Azure DevOps; oversee sandbox environments and data generation.
