Job summary

Flosum is seeking a Salesforce technical architect and engineering manager to drive development velocity across a 10–15 person engineering team building enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform. This hybrid role blends deep technical leadership with people management, emphasizing Salesforce architecture, Node.js services, and AWS-based deployments.

You will mentor engineers, set goals, hire top talent, and partner with Product and Engineering leadership to deliver high quality

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years leading engineering teams.
Strong Salesforce expertise including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, APIs.
Proven Salesforce technical architecture experience designing scalable enterprise solutions.
Strong Node.js background with maintainable services and integrations at scale.
Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using modern APIs.
Deep understanding of architecture, security, and performance optimization.
Track record of improving velocity, system performance, and deployment processes.
Proven ability to grow engineers and lead high performing teams.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture, performance, and scalability of our Salesforce Platform and Node.js based services.
Own the technical direction, mentor engineers, and partner with Product and Engineering leadership.
Manage a team of 10 to 15 developers by setting goals, growing careers, hiring top talent, and removing blockers.
Balance roadmap delivery with engineering excellence, including code quality, reliability, security, and developer experience.
