Summary:
Seeking a skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer with a strong background in digital marketing automation and CRM integration. This role will be responsible for creating personalized, data-driven marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) technologies such as SSJS, AMPscript, and SQL. The ideal candidate will have deep experience integrating with internal and external APIs, leveraging middleware platforms like MuleSoft, and connecting SFMC with Salesforce CRM solutions including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ.
Responsibilities:
Develop dynamic, personalized marketing campaigns using SSJS and AMPscript
Design and build data-driven email programs within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Work with internal and external APIs, including REST/SOAP integrations and middleware platforms like MuleSoft
Write and optimize SQL queries to manage, extract, and analyze complex data sets
Configure and manage MobileConnect, handling opt-in/opt-out compliance and integration with third-party systems
Integrate Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, etc.)
Participate in Agile ceremonies and use tools like Jira and Confluence for documentation and collaboration
Stay current with marketing technology trends and bring innovative thinking to campaign development
Minimum Qualifications:
US Citizenship required for security clearance.
6+ years of professional development experience, with 4+ years focused in SFMC
Strong command of SSJS, AMPscript, and Email Studio
Experience with API development/integration, especially in marketing data pipelines
Advanced SQL skills and knowledge of data modeling and complex structures
Familiarity with Salesforce ecosystem integrations
Experience working in Agile environments
Passion for marketing automation, CRM strategy, and digital personalization
Experience with MuleSoft or similar middleware platforms
Salesforce certifications
