Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Functional Analyst to collaborate with Product Owner and team to configure software and perform highly technical tasks in a timely, quality-driven manner.

You will participate in agile ceremonies, write clear documentation, and provide solutions for customer needs while balancing technical debt and maintainability. This role supports Salesforce CRM initiatives and mergers activity in a hybrid on-site/remote setting.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in configuration, coding and application development.
• Basic understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban and other agile development techniques.
• Basic knowledge of continuous integration / continuous delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the agile team to configure package software.
• Supports the team in executing highly technical tasks per stories.
• Ensures design and development standards to minimize rework and promotes quality-tested code.
• Participates in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Completes required documentation for deployment and maintenance teams.
• Provides production support and helps reduce technical debt.
• Builds customer relationships by understanding needs and delivering solutions.
• Develops user documentation and provides training as appropriate.
• Provides functional analysis for Mergers & Acquisitions and RFP processes.

This is a hybrid position requiring an on-site presence 3 to 4 days per week. Please note that the number of days on-site can increase based on business needs.

Summary:

The Functional Analyst collaborates with Product Owner/Platform Owner and team to deliver user stories focused on configuring package software or performing other highly technical tasks in a timely manner and as per set quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates effectively with the agile team to configure package software when applicable
• Supports the team in executing highly technical tasks according to the specific needs of stories during each iteration
• Ensures design and development standards are being followed to minimize rework; promotes only quality-tested code and does it regularly
• Participates in the daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to update progress, highlight and resolve impediments
• Completes required documentation to communicate required information to deployment, maintenance, service, and business teams
• Provides production support and helps drive down technical debt
• Develops customer relationships by listening and understanding the customer, anticipating, and providing solutions to customer needs, and prioritizing customer satisfaction
• Develop documentation and provide training to users as appropriate
• Define potential improvement changes to resolve errors, prevent the recurrence of problems or improve system maintainability and stability
• Provide functional analysis for the domain/software related to Mergers & Acquisitions
• Provide functional analysis for domain/software RFP process
• Provide SME around product(s) function and works with Product Owner and Business Partners to refine requirements/functionality

Education

Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent

Mandatory Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in configuration, coding and application development
• Basic understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban and other agile development techniques
• Basic knowledge of continuous integration / continuous delivery practices

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working in large organizations
• 2-4 years of experience administering enterprise Salesforce CRM system
• Understanding of standard Sales/CRM concepts and business processes (prospecting, opportunity/lead management, sales reporting, forecasting, etc.)
• Salesforce.com Sales Cloud experience is strongly preferred
• Programming knowledge not essential for Salesforce role.
• Salesforce Admin Required, Advanced Admin Certification Preferred
