Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation in North Charleston, SC seeks a mid‑level Salesforce Software Developer to join the CSIT team. You will build Lightning Web Components, Apex, and integrations to support mission‑critical DoD workloads.

Responsibilities include developing end‑to‑end Salesforce features, integrating REST/SOAP APIs, and aligning with cybersecurity and data governance standards. Some on‑site travel may be necessary as part of customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• 2+ years of full‑stack development experience including HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, and Java.
• 2+ years of software development experience using scripting or object‑oriented languages
• Working knowledge of database design, including schemas, tables, relationships, and data flow
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities
• Experience integrating into existing complex systems
• Ability to communicate technical work clearly through written and verbal methods

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support Salesforce Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, APIs, and platform automation.
• Build full‑stack features using HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, and Java.
• Implement and optimize data models, schemas, relationships, and data flows across Salesforce and integrated systems.
• Support integration development, including REST and SOAP APIs, MuleSoft flows, and external system mappings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile requirements, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and team retrospectives.
• Produce clear, concise technical documentation, diagrams, and release notes.
• Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ensure compliance with DoW cybersecurity, data governance, and secure development standards.
• Provide periodic on‑site support or customer engagement (up to 5% travel)
