Job summary

A technology firm is seeking a Salesforce Developer III with a minimum of 8+ years of experience to work on a remote, 12+ month contract. The candidate must have a Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification and a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform's capabilities, including experience with APIs, Apex language, and various development tools. Familiarity with Salesforce integration, Lightning, and VisualForce is desired, as well as experience in app development on the Salesforce AppExchange.

Responsibilities

• Designing, programming, and configuring the Salesforce platform.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with software development in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience, is preferred.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification is must.
• Experience software design, programming, and configuring the Salesforce platform and deep functional understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
• Experience with Salesforce development tools and techniques, e.g., Lightning, VisualForce, APEX language, Force custom development, triggers, controllers, Force and REST APIs, JSON, sObjects, SOQL, SOSL, outbound messaging and creating new SOA services.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise-level applications though all available integration channels as well as Salesforce-to-Salesforce integrations.

Desired Skills

• Experience with SalesforceDX Experience with Eclipse Force IDE.
• Experience with Omnichannel.
• Experience with Lightning Conversion and VisualForce to Lightning Conversion.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning Experience developing AppExchange commercial applications a plus.
