Job summary

HireTech Group is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join a tight-knit, collaborative team. You will build, test, and ship real solutions with Analysts, Admins, and fellow Developers in a multi-pod environment, contributing across Service Cloud, Pricing, or Finance as needed.

You will work on Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Flows, integrate REST APIs, and participate in agile ceremonies. A team-oriented builder mindset and strong communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• US citizen or GC holder required.
• Experience building on the Salesforce platform (Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Flows).
• Strong communication and teamwork; agile environment.
• Salesforce certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and declarative tools.
• Partner with BAs and Admins to translate requirements into working functionality.
• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retros as an agile team member.
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs with QA and other developers.
• Design and integrate REST APIs to connect Salesforce with other systems.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and best practices.
• Support release and deployment activities with your pod.

Job description

Must be a US Citizen or GC holder with the ability to be hired as an FTE without sponsorships.

Salesforce Developer You will work directly alongside Business Analysts, Admins, and fellow Developers in a tight, collaborative team environment where you will be building, testing, and shipping real solutions together, not working in a silo.

This role will sit within one of our core business pods (Service Cloud, Pricing, or Finance) depending on team needs and your background. The exact pod placement is flexible and will be finalized during the interview process based on fit.

What to expect day to day

• Build and enhance solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and declarative tools
• Partner closely with Business Analysts and Admins in your pod to translate requirements into working functionality
• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retros as an active member of an agile team
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews with your teammates
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, working hand in hand with QA and other developers
• Design and integrate REST APIs to connect Salesforce with other systems
• Contribute to team discussions on architecture, technical approach, and best practices
• Support release and deployment activities alongside your pod

Skills needed for success

• Experience building on the Salesforce platform (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows)
• Comfort working with SOQL, SOSL, and DML
• A genuine interest in working as part of a team rather than independently, peer-to-peer work, reviewing work, and being reviewed in turn
• Strong communication skills, especially when collaborating with non-technical teammates like BAs and Admins
• Experience with version control (Git) and standard development tooling
• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I or similar) are a plus but not required
• Curiosity and a builder mindset; you like figuring things out and shipping solutions
