Job summary

VivSoft is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join the ARES production program, delivering capability across OpsEA Salesforce platform. You will specialize in the assigned capability—training management, stan/eval, qualification management, scheduling and event management, flight operations, or external integration—and grow expertise accordingly.

Responsibilities include building custom objects, Flow automation, and Lightning Web Components, while adhering to SSDLC and participating in agile

Qualifications

• Eligibility to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain custom objects, fields, validation rules, and record types for the assigned capability area.
• Develop Flow-based automation: record-triggered flows, screen flows, subflows, before/after save contexts, and invocable actions.
• Build Lightning Web Components (LWC) for user-facing views, dashboards, and interactive features.
• Participate in code reviews, author unit test cases, and support QA/Test engineers.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and user engagement sessions.
• Write clean, documented code in relevant languages and frameworks.
• Follow secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
• Contribute to technical documentation

Job Summary:

Salesforce Developer on the ARES production program working at sprint pace to build and deliver capability across assigned functional areas of the OpsEA Salesforce platform. Each developer builds deep expertise in their assigned capability domain (e.g. training management, stan/eval, qualification management, scheduling and event management, flight operations and post-mission processing, or external integration).

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain custom objects, fields, validation rules, and record types for the assigned capability area
• Develop Flow-based automation: record-triggered flows, screen flows, subflows, before/after save contexts, and invocable actions supporting the assigned feature area
• Build Lightning Web Components (LWC) for user-facing views, dashboards, and interactive features in the assigned capability area
• Participate in code reviews, author unit test cases, and support QA/Test engineers
• Participate in spring planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and user engagement sessions
• Write clean, documented code in relevant languages and frameworks
• Follow secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices
• Contribute to technical documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-5+ years of Salesforce development experience
• Working proficiency across Apex, Flow Builder automation, and LWC development
• Experience working in two-week sprint cadence with defined sprint gate quality controls
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Active U.S. Government Secret or TS/SCI security clearance.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience developing applications for federal or DoD clients
• Experience on Salesforce Government Cloud or OpsEA platform
• Experience with CRM Analytics dataflows and dashboards
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II

Salary Range: $115,000-$135,000 annually
