Job summary

Brathon is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer for a 12-month contract in Hanover, MD. Hybrid work arrangement (onsite 2 days a week: Tuesdays and Wednesdays) supports collaboration across product delivery teams.

The role focuses on building scalable Salesforce solutions, including Lightning Web Components, Apex, integrations, and declarative features. Strong customer service mindset and leadership capability are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Salesforce technologies.
• 5+ years of experience with Salesforce declarative development (Process Builder, Flows, etc.).
• Experience developing in Sales, Service, and Experience (Community) Clouds.

Responsibilities

• Developing new and enhancing existing Salesforce solutions; refactor to optimize and reduce technical debt.
• Create proof-of-concepts and UI prototypes.
• Define team design and development standards and ensure platform best practices.
• Collaborate across teams and provide technical leadership.
• Design and document technical solutions; code, configure, test, and support in Agile environments.
• Modernize and streamline existing solutions for maintainability.

• - Lightning development experience is required with Lightning web component experience
• - Salesforce development on a large project involving integrations with other software systems

• - An understanding of salesforce declarative features for sales and service cloud

Connected is a multi-year strategic program to digitally transform Sales, Recruiting, and Marketing capabilities for client and all Operating Companies under the Client's umbrella.

This position is a key member of Product delivery, interacting with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, QA, Architects, UX & Scrum Masters. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of customer service, leadership, and analytical focus with a strong technical background in Salesforce technologies.

The Developer is responsible for:

• Developing new and enhancing existing solutions, refactoring when needed to optimize implementation and reduce technical debt
• Creating proof-of-concepts and user interface prototypes.
• Defining team design and development standards and complying with platform standards to best leverage the Salesforce platform
• Engaging with other teams, providing thought leadership and technical expertise within Connected and across the enterprise
• Designs and documents technical solutions
• Codes, configures, unit tests, and supports existing and new products within an Agile environment
• Modernizes and streamlines existing solutions for ease of maintenance and use
• Supports analysis, functional testing, and performance testing efforts within and across teams
• Resolves system defects and errors
• Communicates status, issues, risks, and resolutions to team members and stakeholders
• Escalates issues in a timely and appropriate manner for support, approval and/or resolution
• Complies with platform code, configuration, and security standards
• Communicates complex ideas and concepts to technical, business, and leadership audiences

Requires:

• Flow, Salesforce sales cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Component, Apex, Trigger, Integration, CI/CD
• 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Declarative development using Process Builder, Workflows, Flows, Lightning App Builder, etc.
• 5+ years of experience with Salesforce platform programming – Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, APEX, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Knowledge and experience with Salesforce architecture and APIs, Salesforce security configuration, sharing rules and user management.
• Experience developing in Salesforce’s Sales, Service, and Experience (Community) Clouds
• Experience in agile software development using tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TFS/VSTS or Version1)
• Thorough understanding of Salesforce development and deployment processes and tools, including use of source control, Salesforce DX, and other DevOps and automation practices
