Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise Salesforce solutions for a large financial services client. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on Salesforce development experience and the ability to translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.

This role will work closely with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams while providing technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support complex solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Lead hands-on development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, and Salesforce Flow.
• Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven integration patterns.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Participate in technical design discussions and recommend solutions aligned with Salesforce development best practices.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to other developers.
• Troubleshoot complex application, integration, data, performance, and production issues.
• Design solutions with a strong emphasis on security, performance, scalability, maintainability, and data integrity.
• Support CI/CD, release management, source control, and deployment processes across Salesforce environments.
• Partner with architecture and engineering teams on integrations with enterprise platforms and services.
• Ensure solutions meet the security and governance expectations of a regulated financial services environment.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, development standards, and reusable components.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience, including significant hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Advanced experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce configuration.
• Strong experience developing and consuming REST and/or SOAP APIs.
• Experience designing and supporting complex integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, roles, and field-level security.
• Strong experience with Salesforce Flow and declarative platform capabilities.
• Experience with asynchronous Salesforce development, including Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and platform events.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated deployments, and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented development, design patterns, testing, and code-quality practices.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting Salesforce applications in production environments.
• Ability to independently own technical solutions from requirements through implementation and production support.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within banking, financial services, payments, lending, wealth management, capital markets, or insurance.
• Experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
• Experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
• Experience with middleware and integration technologies such as MuleSoft.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps/deployment tools such as Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience working with large data volumes and complex enterprise integration environments.
• Salesforce certifications such as:
