Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Salesforce.com developer in the DC/VA area to build Apex code, automate business processes with Flow Builder, and maintain a robust test suite ensuring at least 75% code coverage. You will handle CI/CD, debug, and resolve production issues while serving as the primary admin for the enterprise Salesforce environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Salesforce experience, Salesforce certifications, and a strong understanding of best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce.com developer.
• Salesforce.com developer certifications.
• Strong understanding of the platform and ability to build custom components.
• Experience in Scrum or Agile environments is preferred.
• Unlocked Packages experience is a plus.

• Debug existing code base and take necessary corrective actions
• Troubleshoot production issues and determine root cause
• Serve as primary system administrator for the enterprise Salesforce.com environment
• Work with Salesforce Data Loader for data updates
• Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
• Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
• Work with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative development, and change management activities
• Assist in training new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization

Requirements

• You must live within the DC, MD, VA area.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Candidate must have an Active CBP Public Trust.
• College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline
• Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce.com developer
• Salesforce.com developer certifications
• Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom components to meet user requirements
• Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
• Experience in creating Unlocked Packages is preferred, but not required
• Previous experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment preferred
