Job description

About the Role

Shape the Salesforce ecosystem that powers the Firm’s growth. As our Salesforce Cloud Architect, you’ll bring hands-on technical leadership to the design and implementation of scalable solutions across Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Service Cloud.

You’ll tackle complex business challenges through custom development, automation, high-volume data structures, and document-centric workflows—helping teams work more efficiently and building a platform that grows with the Firm. Working closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders, you’ll guide architectural decisions and deliver secure, maintainable, high-performing solutions that turn business priorities into meaningful results.

Your Key Contributions
  • Design end-to-end Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Experience Cloud, and the Salesforce Platform to address complex business and technical requirements.
  • Define the long-term Salesforce architecture strategy, platform roadmap, and technical standards for scalability, performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Evaluate business requirements and determine the appropriate use of native Salesforce capabilities, configuration, automation, custom development, and third-party solutions.
  • Design scalable data models and automated workflows for complex, high-volume, and document-centric operations, including document generation, electronic signatures, optical character recognition, storage, and secure sharing.
  • Establish reliable integration architecture between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, event-driven solutions, and other appropriate integration patterns.
  • Lead technical design sessions and provide architectural oversight for custom object modeling, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, APIs, and third-party integrations.
  • Define and enforce platform governance, security architecture, code review, testing, release management, documentation, and deployment standards.
  • Monitor platform performance, capacity, health, and Salesforce limits while identifying opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and the user experience.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data teams to align Salesforce solutions with business and technology objectives.
  • Evaluate emerging Salesforce capabilities, address technical debt and legacy customizations, and mentor technical teams in architecture principles, development standards, and platform best practices.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in an architect role focused on cloud development.
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect credential strongly preferred; Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Experience Cloud, and the broader Salesforce Platform.
  • Proven experience designing scalable integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture, and related integration technologies.
  • Experience establishing Salesforce development, testing, deployment, release-management, and platform-governance standards using tools such as Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, or Salesforce DX.
  • Experience designing data-intensive and document-centric workflows involving automated document generation, optical character recognition, electronic signatures, storage, and secure information sharing.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate technical debt, modernize legacy solutions, and design secure, maintainable architecture that supports long-term platform scalability.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments and partnering with product owners, business analysts, developers, administrators, and enterprise technology teams.
  • Decision Quality: Evaluates complex business and technical requirements to select Salesforce solutions that appropriately balance scalability, security, performance, maintainability, user needs, and long-term business value.
  • Drives Results: Translates architecture strategy into secure, reliable, and high-performing Salesforce solutions that improve automation, operational efficiency, platform stability, and the user experience.
  • Manages Complexity: Integrates complex business processes, high-volume data structures, document-centric workflows, security requirements, and enterprise systems into cohesive multi-cloud Salesforce architecture.
  • Optimizes Work Processes: Identifies opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce technical debt, strengthen platform governance, and apply automation or emerging Salesforce capabilities to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Communicates Effectively: Clearly explains architectural decisions, technical risks, standards, and solution recommendations to technical and nontechnical stakeholders while leading design discussions and promoting alignment across teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce architecture, including data modeling, platform limits, security and sharing models, identity and access management, multi-org environments, and integration patterns.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Salesforce Flow, Agentforce, Einstein AI, and Salesforce APIs, including REST and SOAP services.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain complex architectural concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
