Partner with business, technology, security, data, operations, and delivery leaders to align Salesforce architecture recommendations with business objectives, lending and loan origination workflows, regulatory expectations, enterprise technology standards, and long‑term platform needs.

Serve as a Salesforce subject matter expert and trusted advisor, providing architecture guidance, evaluating Salesforce platform capabilities and emerging features, and shaping secure, scalable, cost‑effective, and sustainable Salesforce solutions. Work through influence, matrixed collaboration, and design governance to promote alignment, consistency, quality, and informed decision‑making across Salesforce delivery teams, integration teams, business stakeholders, and implementation partners.

Responsibilities And Duties
  • Design end‑to‑end Salesforce solutions across Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce platform capabilities.

  • Deliver technical and non‑technical architecture documentation for assigned initiatives, including data models, high‑level architecture diagrams, integration architecture diagrams, security design documentation, and technical decision records.
  • Partner with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to align business processes with technical designs, ensuring solutions support the intended operating model and business outcomes.
  • Define and document Salesforce data models, integration patterns, security design considerations, automation patterns, and platform configuration standards.
  • Lead Salesforce solution design for system integrations (APIs, middleware, external systems) in partnership with MuleSoft development teams, enterprise integration teams, and external partners, including integrations with loan origination systems, credit decisioning platforms, and third‑party financial services platforms.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Data Architects, and other domain architects to develop solution designs that are consistent with enterprise architecture principles, data strategy, integration standards, and technology roadmaps.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and design governance processes to support cross‑platform alignment and architectural consistency.
  • Contribute to and enforce Salesforce architecture standards, development best practices, design patterns, and governance processes within the Salesforce delivery function.
  • Provide technical leadership, solution guidance, and architecture oversight to developers, administrators, analysts, and partner resources across onshore and offshore teams to ensure adherence to approved solution designs, quality expectations, platform standards, and delivery objectives.
  • Conduct code reviews and solution design reviews to ensure adherence to Salesforce platform limits, performance expectations, security standards, and maintainability requirements.
  • Partner with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and delivery teams during backlog refinement, technical story decomposition, sprint planning, and release planning to ensure work is technically sound and appropriately scoped.
  • Evaluate solution options and clearly communicate tradeoffs related to scalability, maintainability, platform limits, technical debt, cost, implementation complexity, delivery timelines, security, and user experience.
  • Provide architecture guidance to Salesforce Administrators and Developers to ensure configuration, automation, and custom development align with approved solution designs and platform standards.
  • Support architecture‑level root cause analysis and remediation planning for complex Salesforce platform or integration issues.
  • Identify technical debt, platform risks, and architectural improvement opportunities; recommend practical remediation plans in partnership with CRM leadership and technology stakeholders.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, emerging capabilities, and architecture best practices, and assess their impact on Salesforce solution design and platform standards.
  • Support vendor and implementation partner design reviews to ensure recommendations align with Mariner standards, approved architecture, and long‑term platform sustainability.
