Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting, tax, finance, audit, or other analytical experience.
• Exposure to indirect tax concepts or sales/use tax compliance is a plus.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with tax/enterprise platforms like Alteryx, Vertex, Workday, Checkpoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform tax accounting and analytical functions including research, report prep, reconciliations, and planning.
• Review tax GL activity, identify discrepancies, and support controls.
• Support monthly sales and use tax compliance and data reconciliation.
• Organize and analyze tax documentation for audits and planning projects.
• Collaborate with Construction, Accounting, Merchandising, Supply/Distribution and leadership.
• Apply tax laws and develop technical positions to guide decisions.
• Develop proficiency in tax tech platforms to improve research and workflow.
• Identify opportunities to improve tax processes and controls.
• Manage multiple tasks with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ask questions and build knowledge of indirect tax across business lines.
