Sales Training Manager, Skincare

This role is aligned with IQVIA’s Contract Sales Team. The Training Manager will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of learning programs for field-based roles supporting our partners at L'Oréal for our dedicated partnership medical sales team. The Sales Training Manager (STM) will provide expertise to support training initiatives and will need to demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to ensure the delivery of business results.

The Sales Training Manager will work in collaboration with the L’Oreal partner in their aligned geographies and with IQVIA Training Leadership to ensure consistency and standards of training. Sales Training Managers will own specific training responsibilities for their aligned region.

Training Manager, Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the design, development, approval, and delivery of skincare science, product knowledge, marketplace training, as well as foundational and advanced sales skills training
  • Function as a subject matter expert and deliver on all aspects of training (home study, live, and virtual) programs leveraging adult leaning principles, including but not limited to agenda creation and revisions, new hire on-boarding, training communications, compilation/creation of master slide decks, coordination of presenters for live and virtual training events/POAs, development of workshops, leader guides and train-the-trainer events, and reinforcement training activities.
  • Performs one-on-one or group field coaching sessions in various customer settings
  • Provides actionable feedback during and following training sessions to improve individuals’ proficiency levels.
  • Continually develops and applies knowledge of adult learning principles, and new learning techniques to best meet learners’ needs.
  • Demonstrate effective platform skills when facilitating meetings or delivering training to maximize the impact of the session and ensure that information is communicated consistently and clearly.
  • Consults and collaborates with L’Oreal and IQVIA Leadership and other partners to identify training needs/gaps and design and deliver training that enhances field effectiveness
  • Serves as the bridge between Marketing and Sales by translating and communicating brand strategies to Sales personnel through multiple training mediums, while adhering to company guidelines
Qualifications (Required)
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University required
  • At least three (3) years professional experience Sales, Marketing, Sales Training or a professional certificate inapplied science or practice of the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with internal partners to identify commonalities, use resources, and achieve goals
  • Demonstrated drive and initiative to identify and deliver on initiatives with limited direction
  • A strong understanding of technological resources; examples include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong foundation in virtual engagement platforms; examples include MS Teams, WebEx, and Adobe Connect
  • This position is remote and requires up to 50% travel including night and/or weekends in support of the business, which can include field rides, attendance at regional and national congress meetings, sales training engagements, POA meetings, and National Sales Meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in field sales for skin care products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Experience operating with senior/executive management teams; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience required
  • Excellent interpersonal, project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and navigate training sessions virtually (e.g. MS Teams)
  • Excellent presentation/facilitation skills (virtual and live)
  • Excellent coaching and counseling skills (virtual and live live)
  • Strong working knowledge of Situational Leadership, Emotional Intelligence and DiSC (desired)
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proactive and positive approach to providing solutions

The potential base pay range for this role is 90,000-100,000 annually.
