Job summary

Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance is seeking a full-time, commission-based insurance professional to sell and service a wide range of products across Georgia counties. You will meet quarterly sales and retention goals, consult with clients on coverage needs, and grow membership through community networking.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, licensing exams (Property/Casualty & Life/Health) and active licensure pursuit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Must have passed Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams (License Required).
• Actively pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Self-motivated, community-minded, and eager to grow.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service a wide range of insurance products including farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental; meet quarterly sales and retention goals.
• Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions.
• Prospect new customers and grow membership through community networking.
• Ensure all policy documentation and service requirements are completed accurately.
• Inspect properties to assess risk and recommend corrective actions.
• Promote GFB and GFBMIC through local advertising and active community involvement.
• Engage in continuous professional development and product training.
• Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office.
