Job summary

Cappel's Ace Hardware in Norwalk, IA is seeking a Sales Associate to welcome customers, assist with merchandise, and keep the store clean and organized. You will handle register transactions and help customers find everything they need in one trip.

We are seeking outgoing, friendly, and helpful team members to welcome and assist customers. Previous hardware experience is a plus but not a requirement as we provide extensive training.

The Sales Associate will assist in the receiving, stocking, pricing of all merchandise and help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness. The Associate is also responsible for register transactions involving the sale and/or return of merchandise.

What to expect:

• You’ll work directly with customers welcoming them and helping them find everything necessary to complete their project in one trip.

• You’ll be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours).
• You must lift up to 50 lbs.
