Qualifications

• Product knowledge: Moderate level of product knowledge; lead/supervisory experience preferred.
• Communication skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; read/write/interpret safety rules.
• Mathematical skills: Basic math, calculator use, making change in US dollars.
• Reasoning ability: Multi-task, team-oriented, able to defuse escalations.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and identify needs.
• Direct customers to merchandise and inform about events and promotions.
• Provide premier customer service and maintain store appearance.
• Cross-sell and upsell; know store layout and trends.
• Use POS system, process cash and returns.
• Handle inventory and merchandise security.
• Provide direction on assignments and training to associates.
