Job summary

Cengage Group in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Sales Consultant to support the sales process with essential administrative tasks, content mapping, order processing, billing reviews, and contract alignment. You will collaborate with the Strategic Accounts Team and Regional Directors to enable revenue opportunities.

You will update Salesforce, prepare opportunity analyses and forecasts, and coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure open-territory execution and strong customer engagement.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree strongly preferred.
• Two years of successful sales or customer interaction experience.
• Experience with digital sales products and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Support sales execution and administrative operations.
• Update Salesforce, including opportunity, account, contact, and activity data.
• Assist with contract alignment, order processing and billing reviews.
• Coordinate with Sales Management, Account Directors, and other teams.
• Support content mapping and other customer-specific sales activities.
