Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring a Bid Coordinator to support Estimators by assigning and tracking bids in Eclipse, coordinating communications, and maintaining project files. The role involves fielding calls from contractors and supporting submittal preparation.

Ideal candidates will have strong MS Office skills, excellent communication, and a detail-oriented, multitasking work ethic. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assign jobs in Eclipse to Estimators and maintain a calendar of how many jobs each Estimator has per day.
• Close out all jobs in Eclipse.
• Collaborate with other Bid Coordinators for out-of-territory quotes.
• Ensure effective communication across project teams regarding upcoming bids.
• Field phone calls from general contractors, customers, and outside sales reps.
• Maintain open and closed filing of project files.
• Manage the Commercial Projects email inbox.
• Print and assemble submittals and operation and maintenance manuals.
• Print copies of jobs assigned and add customers to the bid list in Eclipse; provide copies to Estimators with contact details.
• Assist Estimators in various duties.
• Distribute and maintain bid sheets.
• Enter jobs into the appropriate tracking system.

Salary: $49,900
