Job summary

United Concordia Dental, part of Highmark Health, offers the Summer 2027 Sales Support Undergraduate Internship. This program provides hands-on experience supporting sales operations, client service, and strategic business initiatives within the healthcare sector.

Interns will work with Sales, Account Management, Service, Marketing, Underwriting, and other partners to support growth, retention, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively while interacting with colleagues, clientele, and other internal or external constituencies in planning assignments and resolving day-to-day operational problems.
• Under supervision, provide entry-level professional services as appropriate to day-to-day objectives, receiving guidance, training, and mentoring from senior personnel.
• Undertake and/or participate in projects and programs designed to develop professional skills and expertise for the organization.
• Participate in planning and implementing unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise and ability.
• As requested by management, conduct research and reporting including recommendations or proposals for action.
• Undertake related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate to the specific objectives of the operating unit.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
