Job summary

AmeriLife seeks an Illustrations Specialist to produce qualified illustrations and provide presale support, aligning with producer objectives. The role emphasizes thorough product knowledge and timely responses to requests, as part of a fast-paced insurance solutions team.

You'll maintain up-to-date carrier information, run illustrations, and contribute to marketing materials while developing expertise in the competitive market and staying compliant with SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide product and carrier information to the producer groups as well as internal staff.
• Maintain detailed product and financial knowledge on all carriers.
• Develop knowledge of important software packages (internal and carrier).
• Run appropriate illustrations based on knowledge of the competitive life insurance environment.
• Provide producers with illustrations and other marketing materials they may need.
• Proactively follow-up on all presale activity.
• Document requested illustrations for sales follow-up utilizing a CRM system.
• Participate in educational development to understand the competitive market, product, and industry trends.
• Maintain departmental illustration workflows and SLA's on phone and illustration turnaround time.
