Fastenal Co. is seeking an entry-level Sales Support professional at our Tulsa branch. This full-time role involves assisting customers, managing inventory, and fulfilling orders from our in-plant store at 5615 S 129th East Ave, Tulsa, OK 74134.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, basic math skills, and a sales-oriented mindset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. On-site duties may include deliveries and stock management.

OVERVIEW

Working as Full-time Sales Support, you must have a strong interest in sales and enjoy working in a fast paced challenging environment. This is an entry level position that will provide assistance to our customers from our branch located at 5615 S 129th East Ave, Tulsa, OK 74134. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting with sales/customer service
• Managing inventory
• Placing and fulfilling orders
• Receiving and shipping inventory
• Performing deliveries with a company vehicle

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess or are working towards a degree in Business/Marketing OR have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Exhibit strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
• Pass a sex offender registry check, required by a customer/contract serviced by this location

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Possess an interest in career advancement
