Job summary

Fastenal is seeking an entry-level Sales Support at our Louisville branch (912 S Church Ave, Louisville, MS 39339). This full-time role supports sales, manages inventory, processes orders, receives and ships stock, and performs deliveries with a company vehicle after onboarding and meeting performance goals.

Candidates should be 18+, may have a Business/Marketing degree or related experience, strong communication and math skills, and a customer-service mindset.

• Business/Marketing degree or related industry experience OR related industry experience and knowledge of the local market
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency

• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs

Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

OVERVIEW

Working as Full-time Sales Support, you must have a strong interest in sales and enjoy working in a fast paced challenging environment. This is an entry level position that will provide assistance to our customers from our branch located at 912 S Church Ave, Louisville, MS 39339. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position are service-based and will present new and diverse challenges daily. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with sales/customer service
• Managing inventory
• Placing and fulfilling orders
• Receiving and shipping inventory
• Performing deliveries with a company vehicle

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess or are working towards a degree in Business/Marketing OR have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Exhibit strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
