V Opco, LLC is seeking a part-time retail sales associate in Malibu, CA to inspire confident purchasing decisions, cultivate client relationships, and convert walk-in traffic into loyal customers.

You will leverage knowledge of fabrics and design, handle POS and merchandising, and support store operations while maintaining the Vince luxury experience. Flexibility for weekends, evenings, events and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience (2+ years)
• Luxury environment experience is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Team player who thrives collaboratively
• Comfortable with POS systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, events, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Consistently achieves and exceeds personal sales goals and clienteling KPIs
• Build a deep understanding of fabrics, fits, construction, and design intent to inform selling decisions
• Cultivate and grow client books through proactive outreach to generate repeat business
• Engage customers with Vince aesthetics to drive sales and meaningful interactions
• Convert walk-in traffic into loyal clients through elevated engagement and wardrobe guidance
• Model best-in-class selling and clienteling on the floor
• Support store operations including POS, merchandising, inventory, and visual standards

Salary Range: $18.50 To $22.00 Hourly

Range for this role is $18.50-$22/hr plus eligibility for sales-based incentive programs

What You'll Be Responsible For:

• Consistently achieves and exceeds personal sales goals, KPIs, and clienteling expectations
• Building a deep understanding of our fabrics, fits, construction, and design intent and use it as a selling tool to inspire confident purchasing decisions
• Cultivate and grow a robust client book through proactive outreach (SMS, email, personalized follow-up, and referrals) to generate repeat business and deepen client loyalty
• Speak confidently about the Vince aesthetic. Turning standardstyling conversations into meaningful, brand-focused interactions that drive sales
• Convert walk-in traffic into loyal clients through elevated engagement, strategic wardrobing, and a genuine consultative selling approach
• Model best-in-class selling and clienteling behaviors on the floor to inspire and elevate the rest of the team
• Support store operation as needed including POS, merchandising, inventory, and visual standards to maintain an environment that reflects the Vince luxury experience
• Uphold all company policies, including loss prevention and operational procedures

What You'll Bring:

• Proven success in a retail sales environment, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics
• Strong selling instincts. You know how to understand the client, create openness, build rapport, and close a sale without pressure
• Deep understanding of the Vince brand identity and the ability to confidently connect clients to the Vince aesthetic through personalized styling
• Strong communication and relationship building that naturally build trust and long-term client loyalty
• Brings positive, motivating energy and contributes to a collaborative, high-performing team environment
• A self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset. You are proactive about generating business rather than relying on walk-in traffic

Qualifications/Experience We're Looking For:

• 2+ years experience in retail sales, preferably in a luxury environment
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills allowing for effective communication with your customers
• Comfortable with POS systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office
• Able to climb ladders and stairs; bend, reach, lift, move, and carry boxes weighing up to 35 pounds while merchandising and maintaining the sales floor
• Flexible work schedule; must be open to work weekends, evenings, events, and holidays
