Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Sales Specialist to drive regional sales and customer engagement across the St. Louis/Central Illinois territory.
This field-based role requires approximately 80% travel and visit cadence with dealers, clubs, and retailers to maximize sell-through and market share. You will partner with regional managers, manage key channels, and use CRM insights to inform forecasting and promotions.
The Sales Specialist is a regional sales professional responsible for executing field-level sales strategies and driving customer engagement across assigned territories, including car dealers, national retailers, clubs, and independent dealers. The role focuses on increasing sell-through performance by building strong customer relationships, optimizing in-store execution, supporting promotions, and identifying new business opportunities. This position partners closely with Regional Sales Managers and account teams to align sales plans with market execution while leveraging data, CRM tools, and customer insights to improve market share and territory performance. Success in the role requires strong sales, communication, and analytical skills, along with the ability to travel extensively and manage a large geographic region.
This is a field-based position supporting accounts throughout the St. Louis/Central Illinois territory. Candidates should reside within the territory or a reasonable driving distance. This role requires approximately 80% travel, with an average of 4 days per week spent in the field. The successful candidate will be expected to visit each assigned account at least once per quarter and regularly travel throughout the territory.
Drives revenue growth and market share by executing regional sales strategies and maximizing sell-through performance across key customer channels, including car dealers, retailers, clubs, and independent dealers.
Serves as a critical link between corporate strategy and market execution, ensuring promotions, product placements, merchandising and training initiatives are effectively implemented at the point of sale.
Strengthens customer engagement and loyalty by building trusted relationships with dealers and frontline stakeholders while identifying and converting new business opportunities within the territory.
Provides valuable market intelligence through analysis of sales trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity, helping shape business decisions, improve performance, and support future growth initiatives.
