Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Senior Team Leader - Account Management to drive delivery, performance, and growth of refinery chemical programs. Responsibilities

  • Support field sampling, testing, and performance reporting across refinery chemical programs.
  • Monitor and maintain existing treatment programs for reliability and compliance.
  • Support development, installation, and optimization of systems applying chemical technologies.
  • Partner with sales and engineering to deliver technical presentations and value.</br>Deliver business reviews and technical insights to customers and leadership.
  • Build trust-based relationships by understanding customer operations and goals.
  • Manage day-to-day execution of refinery chemical programs, including technicians and account reps.
  • Support account-level P&L awareness, budgeting, and performance tracking.
  • Identify sales opportunities and growth initiatives within existing accounts.
  • Coordinate and execute multiple projects to deliver measurable value.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful outcomes.

As a Sales Senior Team leader - Account Management, you will drive the delivery, performance, and growth of refinery chemical programs. You will combine field execution, technical problem-solving, and account leadership to enhance customer outcomes, improve operational efficiency, and unlock commercial opportunities.

You will act as a key interface between customers, sales, and engineering teams, ensuring seamless execution of chemical applications while identifying opportunities to expand value and strengthen long-term partnerships.

As a Sales Senior Team leader - Account Management, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting field sampling, testing, application maintenance, and performance reporting across refinery chemical programs
  • Monitoring and maintaining existing treatment programs to ensure consistent performance, reliability, and compliance
  • Supporting the development, installation, and optimization of systems used to apply chemical technologies
  • Partnering with sales and engineering teams to deliver technical presentations and demonstrate value to customers
  • Developing and delivering business reviews and technical insights to customers and leadership stakeholders
  • Building strong, trust-based relationships by understanding customer operations, challenges, and strategic goals
  • Managing day-to-day execution of refinery chemical programs, including technicians and account representatives
  • Supporting account-level P&L awareness, budgeting, and performance tracking
  • Identifying sales opportunities and originating growth initiatives within existing accounts
  • Identifying, coordinating, and executing multiple projects of varying complexity to deliver measurable customer value
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with technical, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful outcomes
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and innovative solutions aligned with customer needs
  • Directly managing and guiding a team of field personnel and account team members
  • Ensuring adherence to Sales and Service Standards and operational excellence practices
  • Promoting a culture of safety, collaboration, and high performance

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field
  • Have significant experience in downstream chemicals, refining operations, or industrial process environments
  • Have experience in customer-facing roles, technical sales, or account management
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of refinery processes and chemical treatment programs
  • Be able to translate technical data into actionable insights and business value
