Job summary

Guardian Fleet Services is seeking a Salvage Auto Parts Sales Representative in Seffner, FL, to help customers find correct salvaged auto parts and provide expert advice on compatibility and availability.

You will manage inventory knowledge, process various payment methods, and build lasting relationships with auto repair shops and buyers. The role requires strong communication, automotive knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive tech education is a plus.
• Systems experience with Auto Info, Checkmate, Hollander and Pinnacle.
• Proven experience in auto parts sales, preferably in salvage or used parts.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and their applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and inventory/ POS software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in using inventory management systems and point-of-sale software.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will specialize in selling used and salvaged automotive parts, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring customers find the right components for their vehicles. Physical Requirements:

The job requires constant use of hands and arms, sitting in front of a computer for long periods, significant bending and reaching. Physical ability to lift and move heavy parts as needed. Ability to lift and pull at least 50lbs. Good hearing and vision required. Ability to communicate clearly with customers.
