D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Sales Representative.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate DR Horton’s value proposition, product vision, and capabilities to potential customers.
- Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges, then establish DR Horton as the best solution available.
- Overcome objections and close sales.
- Maintain accurate documentation of the transaction from sale through loan, options, and construction.
- Continually source new sales opportunities.
- Create and provide to management a marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships.
- Network and perform outreach to realtors.
- Manage time efficiently, meet sales goals, and work effectively with other members of the team.
- Maintain and expand database of prospects.
- Attend sales meetings.
- Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
- Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase goodwill and profit of the company.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or 2 years related experience.
- Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and be able to drive in daytime or nighttime.
- Ability to utilize DRH Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral form or via DRH Sales applications.
- Proficiency with MS Office and email.
- Physical capability: stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; walk up and down stairs; walk on uneven terrain; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; specific vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision; regular exposure to outside weather conditions; noise level generally moderate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensing requirements vary by state.
- Prior CRM software experience.
- Previous sales experience; knowledge of the industry preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Strong motivation.
