Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is seeking independent contractors for a sales position focused on fire service equipment. The successful candidate will handle customer inquiries, develop relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers, and operate on a commission basis, earning approximately 40% of the gross profit per sale. Ideal candidates may be current firefighters, as familiarity with fire service principles is advantageous for understanding the products offered. This role can serve as a profitable part-time job.

Job description

General Purpose

To plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned areas. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery. Develop relationships with all Fire and EMT decision-makers in designated area. Dinges Fire team members pride themselves on building a 'Help First' relationship with departments in an effort to make their jobs easier, safer and more comfortable.

Other Considerations

• All salespersons are 1099 independent contractors. Pay is comprised entirely of commissions with unlimited potential! Earn approximately 40% of the gross profit on each sale.
• DFC offers the opportunity for a great part-time job earning a strong second income. Most of our salespersons are also firefighters. While being a firefighter is not mandatory, it is highly recommended because it provides a great knowledge base for the products and services we offer.
• DFC representatives own the sales in their territory. This is a unique concept in the Fire and EMT industry. You will have many items that we have to sell in your area, that will benefit the Fire Fighters and First Responders.
