Job summary

Charter Communications is seeking a door-to-door salesperson to acquire residential customers in non-bulk MDUs with ≤49 doors. You will use a consultative approach to understand customer needs and achieve sales targets while delivering Spectrum services.

The role offers a base salary with lucrative incentives, potential total compensation over $100,000, and employee benefits including free/disc ounted Spectrum services. Must be able to work outdoors and travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• 0-6+ months of sales or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of cold call sales techniques and persuasive communication.
• Ability to travel within assigned territories using a reliable personal vehicle, including during inclement weather.
• Capac ity to work outdoors for extended periods in any season or weather.
• Familiarity with computer operating systems, consumer and commercial communications devices.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer acquisition by conducting door-to-door sales in assigned non-bulk MDUs (≤49 doors).
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets within the assigned MDU portfolio.
• Generate incremental revenue by adding Spectrum services.
• Respond to customer problems per policy and ensure satisfactory resolution.
• Maintain knowledge of competitors and report changes to supervisor.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Drive new customer acquisition by conducting door-to-door sales in assigned non-bulk multi-dwelling unit properties with 49 or fewer doors.
• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance customer experience.
• Meet or exceed established monthly sales performance targets and penetration goals within the assigned MDU portfolio, as defined in the Standards of Sales Performance.
• Generate incremental revenue from existing customers by adding new or additional Spectrum services within assigned properties.
• Respond to customer problems and complaints according to established company policy, using appropriate tools and resources, and follow through to ensure issues are satisfactorily resolved.
• Maintain a well-informed knowledge base of competitors' activities, pricing, and offers throughout the assigned territory, and inform the supervisor/manager of changing competitive programs or marketing directions.
• Attend and actively contribute to sales meetings and training programs; apply learning and feedback to improve individual sales results.
• Accurately complete all necessary documentation to support sales activities, including dispositions, sales orders, and sales reporting, in a manner consistent with quality control guidelines and required timeframes.
• Collect and account for funds and provide receipts according to Company policy and guideline

Working Conditions

• Spends approximately 80% of time in outside environment for extended periods of time in any season with potential exposure to inclement weather
• Must be able to lift 10-20 pounds for 20 - 30 feet (digital boxes, etc.)
• Exposure to moderate noise levels
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and split days off

Required Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

Experience

• 0-6+ months of sales or customer service experience

• Success in sales, prospecting or cold calling, with direct sales experience preferred

A qualified applicant's criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.

The base pay for this position generally is between $33,200.00 and $66,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $65,000.
