Full-Time | Approximately 50% Travel

About the Position

Sunshine Estate Roadshow and Sunshine Estate Gold Buyers are looking for friendly, confident, and motivated Sales Representatives/Buyers to join our growing team.For more than 20 years, our owners have worked in the estate jewelry, precious metals, gold, silver, coins, watches, and collectibles industry. We host scheduled buying events throughout Florida where customers bring items to us for evaluation and potential purchase. This is NOT a cold-calling or prospecting position. Customers come to our scheduled roadshows and store locations to meet with our buyers.

If you enjoy working with people, have strong communication and negotiation skills, and are interested in learning the estate jewelry and precious metals industry, we will provide the training you need to succeed.

What You'll Do

Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional
service. Evaluate jewelry, precious metals, coins, watches, collectibles, and
other items presented for purchase. Negotiate purchase prices professionally and confidently. Maintain accurate records of purchases and customer interactions. Meet or exceed established performance goals. Assist with inventory and other operational needs as necessary

No Industry Experience? We Provide Paid Training. Previous experience with jewelry or precious metals is helpful, but not required. Our comprehensive training program teaches you how to identify and authenticate precious metals, jewelry, coins, watches, and other items, along with valuation, negotiation, and professional buying techniques.Training consists of approximately one week of classroom/store-based training in Orlando, followed by approximately two to four weeks of hands-on training at live roadshow events.

Travel Is an Important Part of This Position

Candidates should be comfortable traveling approximately 50% of the time, which may include being away from their home location for approximately two weeks per month. For company-required travel outside your home area:

• Company-paid hotel accommodations
• Company-paid travel expenses
• Mileage reimbursement when applicable
• Meal per diem

When working at Roadshows or store locations within your home area, you will generally use your own reliable transportation.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable personal transportation and current automobile insurance in Florida
• Ability to complete the required paid training program
• Ability to travel overnight and for multiple days on a recurring basis
• Successful completion of a post-offer background screening
