About the Role

As Sales Representative at Landus, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and growing relationships with our legacy customers while helping to identify new agronomy prospects. Your primary focus will be to ensure the continued success and loyalty of our current agronomy clients and expand Landus’ footprint in the agronomy space. This position combines account management with hands‑on support, including in‑person visits to customer farms, and participation in industry events. You will be a key part of a remote team but will also have occasional travel requirements to engage directly with farmers.

What will you do?
  • Maintain and Grow Legacy Accounts: Cultivate strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring that their agronomy needs are met and helping them maximize the value of Landus’ products and services. Focus on customer retention and satisfaction to ensure long‑term loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other Landus One Teams: Work alongside the Grain team to identify new agronomy prospects, providing expertise and insights to target high‑potential leads and increase agronomy sales.
  • Accurate Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions. Ensure data is entered into the CRM system to track progress and help identify areas for further customer support.
  • Account Management and Consultation: Provide tailored agronomy solutions to customers, ensuring their success in crop production by recommending appropriate products and services, and helping them navigate challenges like pest and disease management, soil health, and crop nutrition.
  • Farm Visits and Customer Engagement: Travel to customer farms as needed to build personal relationships, assess field conditions, and provide on‑site agronomy support, ensuring clients feel supported and informed.
  • Event Attendance and Promotion: Actively participate in agronomy and industry events. Encourage and support customers’ attendance at events, acting as a representative of Landus to educate and engage customers, and generate new leads.
  • Sales and Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed sales goals for agronomy products and services, tracking progress and ensuring that the pipeline is consistently filled with high‑value prospects.
  • Professional Image and Representation: Represent Landus professionally to customers, members, and the public. Your appearance should be neat, clean, and professional at all times, with the expectation of wearing company‑branded apparel and long pants.
